The Ribera del Duero is one of the most outstanding areas producing quality red wines in Spain.

Guzman de Izán (Burgos), municipality where Bodegas Riberalta is located, is one of the best considered terms within the production area of the Ribera; its special orography, its 800 meters of altitude, limit of the cultivation of the vineyard, its jets or soft valleys oriented to the noon, the texture of the gravelly-sandy, loose and healthy soil. The clayey subsoil, with a great capacity to retain water, provides perfect ripening and an excess of fruit, but of the highest quality.

The variety of grape is exclusively Tempranillo, which due to its special adaptation to these lands is called TINTO FINO.

All the plantations are more than 15 years old, in some cases reaching 60 years, providing a perfect fruit for its ageing. In the winery, the nobility of Castile stands out in its construction and in its facilities, technology always at the service of tradition.
