More information El Dulce de Tarima Moscatel Wine
El Dulce de Tarima Moscatel is made with Muscatel of Alexandria.
Founded in 2004 by Jorge Ordoñez and Rafael Cañizares, two of the people responsible for the international boom in Spanish wine in the 1990s.
When the whole world associated Spanish wines with a small list of Riojas of dubious quality and cheap sherries, these two visionaries were recovering old abandoned vineyards in then unknown areas, such as the Jumilla DO. At the same time, Jorge Ordóñez was reinventing the business of exporting Spanish wines, creating new types of customers and making the potential of our wines known to the whole world.
The differential stamp of the winery is the handcrafted production from native Spanish varieties from very old vineyards, less productive, but providing more quality in all senses.
Currently, Bodegas Volver produces wines under the protection of the DO Jumilla, Castilla la Mancha and Alicante.
The winery is located southwest of the city of Salinas and northeast of Pinoso. Tarima Sparkling Moscatel is a product from vineyards with D.O. Alicante, one of the best known wine producing regions in Spain.
El Dulce de Tarima Moscatel
El Dulce de Tarima Moscatel is made with Muscatel of Alexandria. Grapes carefully harvested by hand, which, after a short maceration at low temperature to maintain the primary aromas of the variety, is headed, thus managing to maintain the natural sugars of the grape.
Great aromatic potential perfectly balanced.
