The Cabernet Franc CLM 2016 grapes are grown in the Agres region at an altitude of 800 meters, in the heart of the Sierra de Mariola, at the very foothills of Pico Montcabrer, which stands at 1,390 meters. Due to the vineyard's location and low production, the harvest is done manually, allowing for a careful selection of grapes for processing.

During the first half of September 2016, temperatures ranged between 36 and 40 degrees Celsius, while in the second half, storms brought light rainfall but high humidity, which was beneficial for refreshing the grapes. The grapes were harvested at optimal ripeness, enabling a natural winemaking process, respecting fermentation times with their own indigenous yeasts.

After successfully completing the process, and following clarification, the wine was transferred to a 2,000-liter French oak vat from the Foudrerie François in Brive-la-Gaillarde, on the banks of the Dordogne River. In January 2017, it was moved into 300-liter French oak barrels, where it aged until mid-2018 before being returned to the 2,000-liter vat, which had previously aged an excellent-quality Monastrell for 18 months.

There, this Cabernet Franc remained until it was bottled in mid-2023.
