La Rioja red wine with 24 months of American oak and France Oak barrels agening.
Bodegas Juan Alcorta, named after its founder, Juan Alcorta, is located on the old road to Fuenmayor (Logroño).
A winery exclusively dedicated to crianza, reserva and gran reserva wines, whose vineyards are divided into plots so that the vocation of the grapes is determined for each type of wine. For the aging in barrels we use mainly American oak and also French oak, in a serene and restful atmosphere for the aging of wine.
The majority of our vineyards are made up of old vines, more than 25 years old, in which the majority of the Tempranillo variety is cultivated.
Alcorta Reserve
Two years of aging in new and semi-new French and American oak barrels and one year in the bottle, allow us to obtain a more fruity wine, with an intense color and good structure.
