Merayo Mencía is harvested from hillside vineyards, with vines over 80 years old and trellised vines averaging 30 years old. 100% Mencía grapes variety from clay soil with surface pebbles.
Macerated and fermented for 10 days in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, followed by aging on its lees for 6 months.
Selected by Guía Peñín as one of the top 10 quality-price wines in Spain for less than 10 euros.

Tasting Notes | Colour: Violet-red, very lively and clean.
Nose: Good intensity, very fresh with a predominance of varietal notes of forest fruits and floral (violet) aromas.
Palate: Powerful and luscious. It is broad, fresh, and unctuous. The tannin is ripe and round. Red fruit and ripe fruit notes reappear, along with floral and spicy notes. Good length and persistence. |
