A single malt matured in an exquisite union of oak casks, this single malt was carefully crafted by the Whisky Mastery Team to showcase the role of ex-bourbon American oak casks in our portfolio.

The expression perfectly combines sweet lightness brought by these casks with depth and complexity from The Macallan’s renowned sherry seasoned American oak casks, to uncover a new, uniquely heightened flavour experience.

A vibrant Single Malt

The exceptional whisky offers a sweet lightness brought by the ex-bourbon oak casks, intertwined with the depth and complexity created by The Macallan’s signature sherry-seasoned oak casks. It has a higher strength ABV of 51%, selected by the Whisky Maker as the optimum level to bring forth the full character of the single malt and reveal the dominant notes of vanilla, sweet orange and fresh vibrant oak.

The Macallan Whisky Maker, Polly Logan used her skill and experience to craft the expression using a combination of sherry seasoned European oak casks and ex-bourbon American oak casks to create a single malt with a unique flavour and character.
