More information Jacob's Creek Shiraz Cabernet 2018 (Australia) Wine
Way back in 1847, a young Bavarian immigrant by the name of Johann Gramp planted the Barossa Valley’s first commercial vineyard on the banks of Jacob’s Creek. Today, Johann’s original cellar is still standing at Jacob’s Creek. It’s a testament to his enduring passion for wine. Johann’s legacy instilled a simple winemaking philosophy that gave birth to one of the world’s most popular wine brands.
JACOB'S CREEK SHIRAZ
Shiraz is the most important and widely planted grape variety in Australia where it consistently produces outstanding medium to full-bodied wines deep crimson in colour and with rich, ripe plum and pepper flavours. Most Shiraz wines benefit from oak maturation and may be kept for many years. The Barossa Valley and Hunter Valley are home to Australia’s greatest Shiraz. The synonym ‘Syrah’ may often be found in other wine producing countries.
