Vino Viña Do Campo Godello

Viña Do Campo Godello is a single-varietal wine with a wide range of expressions and pleasant memories.

With more than 90 years of winemaking tradition, Bodegas Docampo has 6 hectares of its own vineyards and 12 more hectares, whose grapes we buy from the usual suppliers, plantations that we control ourselves.

Our vineyards are distributed in different estates of the D.O. Ribeiro, with a climate, soils and land suitable for the cultivation of vines. From Bodegas Docampo we pay special attention to the vine, we adapt it by raising it from the ground so that its fruits do not touch the ground, thus obtaining healthy and mature grapes.
We prefer to cultivate Mencia grapes for red and white wines. Treixadura, Torrontés, Godello and Palomino are the main varieties.

Docampo, a name that has always been linked to Ribeiro, is firmly committed to quality, innovating and contributing new technologies to the experience and knowledge acquired over the years.

Our family's winemaking tradition is almost a hundred years old. It goes back several generations when our great-grandparents cultivated and produced their wines in the lands of Cenlle (Ourense).
The business has always been a family tradition. Each one of us tries day after day to maintain the legacy of our predecessors incorporating the necessary innovations to elaborate wines that are guarantee of quality and of attention to the stocks.
In spite of our almost 100 years of history, we continue to work constantly to improve and to always offer you the best wine, combining experience with attention and dedication in every phase of the work.

Viña Do Campo

With the native variety Godello, we have elaborated this monovarietal of wide expressions and pleasant memories 

The grapes are harvested at the optimum moment of ripeness, in boxes with little capacity to maintain the good condition of the grapes, which pass through a selection table and are in a pellicular maceration for 5 hours at a temperature of 6ºc. The alcoholic fermentation is carried out at a controlled temperature of 16ºc in stainless steel for 14 days. At the end of this one, the wine rests and matures until its moment of bottling.
