The Tsukuriwake Collection 2024 represents the mastery of the House of Suntory in whisky making
Tsukuriwake Collection 2024 pays homage to ingredients such as barley and peat, and is also the first series that encompasses the diversity of Suntory whisky making from start to finish: water, environment, ingredients, peat, distillation, aging, and cask.
Tsukuriwake is a creative exploration of the diverse whisky-making techniques handed down by generations of master blenders at Suntory Whisky.
Their blenders orchestrate each step of the whisky-making process, composing stunning new taste profiles. The selection of raw ingredients, peating levels and fermentation, distillation and maturation techniques are expertly balanced to explore the full range of expressions of what a single malt and Japanese whisky can be.
The experience in developing great whiskies acquired over more than 100 years and passed down from generation to generation has allowed our Master Blender, Shinji Fukuyo, and his team to push the boundaries of our iconic malt whisky brands.

Yamazaki Golden Promise
The Yamazaki Golden Promise is composed of Golden Promise barley.
First grown in Scotland in the 1960s, this varietal is revered for its flavor and malting characteristics. Combined with aging in American oak casks, the nuances of the Yamazaki base are accentuated through a malty and rich character, with sweet, fruity, and citrus notes.
Yamazaki Islay Peated Malt
Islay peat imparts one of the most distinctive flavors of Scotch whisky, revered worldwide for its characteristic smokiness.
The Yamazaki Islay Peated Malt balances the smoky quality with a characteristic sweetness, born from the unique water and maturation processes that define Yamazaki whisky. This marriage of traditions is especially present on the nose, where gentle smoke meets a hint of biscuit.
Yamazaki Mizunara 18 Years
Through years of experimentation, Suntory's blenders have discovered the secret to the treasures of Mizunara casks: time. A long maturation period imparts unmistakable spiciness and notes of sandalwood and aloe upon the Yamazaki. As a result, Yamazaki Mizunara Aged 18 Years is a pleasingly complex, rich and elegant whisky, where fruit, spice, and wood notes engage to inspire the senses.
Hakushu Peated 18 Years
The Hakushu Peated Malt Aged 18 Years exemplifies the art of marrying ingredients, techniques, and terroir.
Throughout its long history of using peated malt, the House of Suntory blenders have harnessed Hakushu’s climate to unveil intricate layers of flavor from the peated malt’s robust smoke character.
A long maturation, catalyzed by Hakushu’s exceptionally pure water, reveals a wave of clean smoke, deepening into herbaceous mineral notes and undertones of ripe apples.
