More information El Vínculo Crianza 2019 Wine
Bodega El Vínculo is the result of an old idea of Alejandro Fernández: to make a great wine in La Mancha.
After a long journey through the region he ended up finding what he was looking for, which was nothing but good old Tempranillo vines, well acclimatized to the local conditions.
If the plants were well cared for, selected and their performance monitored, that great La Mancha wine, dreamt of by Alejandro, could become a reality.
Thus began this last -for now- great project of Alejandro.
Near the windmills of Campo de Criptana, next to the old railway station, a beautiful typical La Mancha construction has been recovered and converted into a modern winery, designed to produce limited quantities of high quality wines. The name chosen -El Vínculo- is a tribute to the old paternal winery, back in the lands of the Duero.
El Vinculo Crianza
A Tempranillo from La Mancha brimming with freshness. This wine from Castile-La Mancha—the result of a project where a lot of effort was made to seek out good and old vines—is aged in American oak barrels, which are favoured by the wineries of Familia Fernández Rivera.
CONSUMPTION
Suitable for current consumption, which will continue to develop in the bottle. It is advisable to decant 30 minutes before serving to oxygenate. In order to get a more natural wine, this Crianza has not undergone any filtration process, so it may contain sediments that do not affect the quality of the wine.
PAIRINGS
Perfect to enjoy accompanied by charcoal-grilled red meat, feathered and furred small game dishes such as quail and hare.

Tasting Notes | LOOK: Very intense picota cherry red colour, clear and shiny.
SMELL: Aromas of ripe fruits predominate, with a light yet persistent hint of oak, spicy notes and roasted aromas.
TASTE: It has a complex and intense flavour. With a healthy dose of acidity, which gives a feeling of freshness under the tongue. This red wine has a structure defined by tannins. A persistent and flavourful wine, intense in the mouth, which lasts several seconds after passing through the palate. |
