The Brugal Papa Andres 2018 Odyssey Edition is designed to pay tribute to our founder and celebrate 130 years of tradition.
Since Brugal was founded in 1888, each generation of the Brugal family has reserved a small amount of their most exceptional rums to create a very limited number of bottles with their most exclusive drink. The skill and artistry required to blend these complex, more aged rums was passed down through five generations of Master Rummakers, all members of the Brugal family, and each created their own unique blend of this exceptional rum.
Traditionally enjoyed only at major family celebrations, this private reserve rum came to be known as Papa Andres, in honour of Don Andres Brugal, the company's founder.

It is our family's greatest treasure. Named after our founder, Don Andrés Brugal, this blend has been enjoyed by the Brugal family for five generations before being put on sale. Each limited edition is different from the previous one, and the 2018 edition of ODISEA is designed to pay tribute to our founder and celebrate 130 years of tradition.
The decanter features an engraved metal necklace together with a hand-polished, sandblasted plate and comes in an elegant blue jewellery box with an intricate wave illustration design, symbolizing Don Andrés' journey across the Atlantic.
Only 1,000 handmade decanters have been made available for sale, making this one of the unique and extraordinary rums to be enjoyed.
