Bodegas Vivanza has managed to rescue for today that "know-how" of yesteryear and in the same "terroirs" of privileged location.

The true history of Vivanza wines lies in the estates where its vineyards grow. BODEGAS VIVANZA, has managed to rescue for today that "know-how" of yesteryear and in the same "terroirs" of privileged location (slopes of Mount Carche), where at the end of the nineteenth century, Dña. Josefa Verdú, great passionate about viticulture, achieved excellent harvests and wines of great quality.

At that time, she exported to the United States and Cuba, which led her to obtain great recognition, such as the medal of honour for the best wine at the World's Fair in Chicago in 1892.

Finca la Alberquilla is located in the southeast of Spain with vineyards in the Jumilla and Alicante DOs. The south orientation in the Sierra del Carche between Jumilla and Pinoso and its soil varieties in the different gullies that compose it, makes it ideal for the cultivation of the varieties chosen on the farm

Vivanza Cabernet Sauvignon Monastrell

Grape varieties are harvested independently by hand, each one at its optimal moment of ripeness, and the plots are selected with the best quality harvest. They undergo a pre-fermentation maceration at 10ºC to obtain greater aromatic complexity. Fermentation and maceration lasts between 15-20 days at a temperature not exceeding 25ºC, to enhance the varietal characteristics of each wine. Malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks.

Great aromatic richness dominated by an explosion of ripe red and black fruits with elegant notes of smoked, balsamic and vanilla.
In the mouth it is powerful, tasty and attractive, with noble and mature tannins.
