Wine Manzanilla La Guita

La Guita was founded in 1852 by Domingo Pérez Marín in Sanlúcar de Barrameda. In 1908 the brand name was registered, and the string was added to the bottle, which has hardly been modified up to the present day.

Since 2007 it has been part of the José Estévez sherry winery group, joining other great centenary wineries such as Valdespino and Marqués del Real Tesoro.

La Guita is a 100% Sanlúcar manzanilla. All of its grapes come from Sanlúcar's coastal vineyards, mainly from the Miraflores La Baja vineyard, and are purchased by José Estévez from more than 175 growers of the Sanlúcar Wine Cooperative COVISAN. It also has two wineries located in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, one of them in Sanlúcar Pago Viejo, where the bottling plant is also located, and another one in Sanlúcar's Barrio Alto in the popular Misericordia street. The latter is an emblematic bodega with a history dating back to the 16th century.

"La Guita" is the first manzanilla with a bottling date on the back label. This information is of the utmost importance to guarantee our consumers the optimum state of its consumption. In food, it is an ideal accompaniment to seafood, fish, and products with a saline flavour and outstanding acidity.
