La Batalla de Almansa is the re-edition of a mythical wine that disappeared from Almansa's culture.
Our farm has a total area of 1,000 hectares, located at the foot of the imposing Sierra del Mugrón, with 240 hectares of vineyards, 40 hectares of olive groves, as well as other crops and more than 20 hectares of pine forests that make up our landscape.
Throughout its length, the land is characterized by a slight slope and stony, limy soils and an altitude of 750 meters above sea level.
The recovery of a mythical wine in Almansa: "La Batalla de Almansa". Hacienda el Espino recovers the name of a wine that is very present in the memory of the people of Almansa, a wine that is still present as a relic in some nostalgic showcases of the town. With a label inspired by the original, this wine is made with a minimum of 6 months in American oak barrels with an organic and unique blend of Garnacha Tintorera, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Syrah grapes and follows the line of high quality wines that defines and represents Hacienda el Espino.
