Licor 43 Horchata is much more than an exciting new product from Licor 43. We took the traditional horchata recipe from Valencia and gave it an unexpected twist by adding the delicate, sweet Mediterranean flavours of Licor 43 Original.
What is the inspiration behind Licor 43 Horchata?
Horchata is a refreshing drink made from tiger nuts mixed with sugar, and sometimes a touch of cinnamon and lemon. It is a drink with a long tradition: the tigernut from ancient Egypt is one of the first plants that adapted to human cultivation. The Arabs introduced this plant to Valencia, Spain, where the soil and the sun were perfect for its cultivation.
An unmistakable flavour
The taste of Licor 43 Horchata is unique: sweet and light, but at the same time loaded with aromas of selected spices. It is a refreshing drink that is unlike any cream liqueur imaginable.
