Behind Casamigos Añejo stands no less than one of Hollywood's greats, George Clooney.
The friends George Clooney, Rande Gerber, and Mike Meldman had the idea to create the best possible tequila for themselves, for their home. After years of working with their master distiller in Jalisco, they created the product they had desired, but it was so good that it couldn't just stay for their home consumption, so they decided to market it, and Casamigos was born.
Casamigos Añejo is an ultra-premium tequila made from hand-picked blue agave. These agaves are roasted in traditional brick ovens for 72 hours and then fermented for around 80 hours.
The tequila matures for 7 months in barrels made of American white oak.
