Campeny Distilleries, a pioneer in the production of Catalan cream liqueur, was founded in 1970 by Amadeo Campeny. Its family character and the entrepreneurial spirit of its founder have made it possible for Destilerías Campeny to be present throughout Spain, in Europe and to begin opening up new markets. 

The Distillery has an organizational structure presided over by its founder Amadeo Campeny. Together with him, his sons, Juan and Cristina, hold the positions of General Manager and Financial Director respectively. The growth forecasts have led to the incorporation of Sergio Clavell, a person with marked commercial experience within multinational companies, as Export Director with the aim of increasing the presence of its products in the European market and penetrating Asian countries, the United States and South America. 

The initial location of Destilerías Campeny is in an industrial estate in the town of Sant Adrià del Besòs, province of Barcelona, where its founder Amadeo Campeny was born. Today, and since 1981, its facilities are located in El Masnou, 20 km from Barcelona. 

Destilerías Campeny participates with its own stand in the most prestigious international fairs in its sector, and its line of work revolves around the constant launch of new and original products. It specializes in the production of liqueur creams and has more than 70 different flavours.
