More information Zubrowka 1 Liter (Poland) Vodka
The legend of Zubrówka begins in 14th century Poland deep in the remote Bialowieza Forest in the northeast of the country. This ancient primeval woodland is home to the magnificent endangered Bison from which Zubrówka takes its name.
Zubrówka (say "ZOO-BROOV-KA") derives its unique aromatic taste from extracts of rare bison grass, which is harvested by hand from Bialowieza Forest. It is essence which gives to his vodka its distinctive flavour. Zubrówka's exceptional and natural character is emphasized by a bison grass blade placed in every bottle.
Perfectly complementing cloudy apple juice for the Apple ZU cocktail, Zubrówka can also be enjoyed neat with ice, sipped chilled, or with your favourite juice or tonic.

Tasting Notes | Smells nicely of sweet grass, paraffin, acetate and wheat crackers; aeration bolsters the aromatic impressions of the first round and adds a subtle spiciness (nutmeg?) that complements the grassy quality. Palate entry teems with zesty, spicy, medicinal and grassy flavors; midpalate flavors come off chocolaty and milky, with disparate background tastes of egg cream |
