LAN Gran Reserva has been aged for 24 months in barrels and is further refined in the bottle for an additional 36 months. It is their way of paying tribute to the passage of time, patience, and craftsmanship. Elegant and subtle, it fully expresses the wisdom bestowed by time.
Vineyard
The Tempranillo comes from vineyards over 40 years old, selected in the Rioja Alta area (Haro, Villalba, Foncea), and the Mazuelo variety comes from Cenicero.
Production
Fermentation in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature with prolonged maceration of 3 weeks to ensure adequate extraction of all the aromatic potential and tannins.
Aging
Aged in American and French oak barrels for 28 months, followed by 36 months in the bottle.
