Market Loch, which lies 1000 feet above sea level, its importance to the Jura distillery cannot be underestimated. A serene and almost spiritual place; these pure waters give life to the whisky.
Jura The Loch is complex, spicy, and intense. This whisky offers intense flavours of freshly ground coffee and ground black pepper, with a finish of molasses-soaked apples and butterscotch.
Matured in ex-bourbon American white oak casks and enhanced by a rich finish of hand-selected Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks that previously contained 30 year old Pedro Ximénez Sherry wine from a single estate sherry cellar in Jerez.
