The ability of the small island community of Jura to imagine and reinvent has allowed the distillery to thrive.
This vision has given life to Isle of Jura Seven Wood, a well-deserved tribute to the skill of its Master Blender.
Thanks to the forestry commission, the sawmill and cooperage in France, they use the finest virgin French oak casks to enhance Isle of Jura Seven Wood.
Layers of complexity and flavour emerge from a maturation journey that begins in ex-American White Oak bourbon casks before a portion of the whisky is split between six different virgin oak casks from various regions of France.
The result is a fruity and spicy whisky with flavours of caramel, roasted peach and sweet liquorice.
