El Caire represents the Monastrell of inland Alicante in its purest form.
El Caire is a fresh wine to enjoy the good times, made based on the tradition and know-how of Bodegas Monovar.
Deep soils with clayey textures, limestone and superficial gravel, at an altitude of 490 m above sea level. Made from Monastrell grapes grown in old vineyards over 30 years old.
Complete destemming of all the bunches, subsequent fermentation in 25,000 litre stainless steel tanks.
Controlled fermentation temperatures of around 24º C.
Aged for 6 months in barrels.

Tasting Notes
Cherry red with violet reflections, aromas of ripe fruit and light vanilla. Powerful flavour with good acidity. Sweet tannins and blackberries, good balance and equilibrium.
