In 1995, renowned film director Francis Ford Coppola acquired the Inglenook Château property and surrounding vineyards in Napa Valley and founded the Niebaum-Coppola Estate Winery. Inside the winery is the Centennial Museum that tells the story of the two families that created the winery, on one hand Gustave Niebaum--a Finn who made his fortune in Alaska--who founded a large wine cellar capable of rivalling those in France, and the Coppola family, made up of Italian-Americans, who kept alive the dream of standing out in the world of film arts.

The winemaking tradition in the Coppola family dates back to the time of prohibition, when Francis' grandfather made wine in New York. This wine was forbidden and of poor quality, but it awakened the interest and love for this world in little Coppola. Now, Francis Ford Coppola enjoys his two wine cellars and produces high quality wines, awarded worldwide.

Rosso & Bianco Chardonnay offers the light and sparkling character of freshly picked fruit. By fermenting in stainless steel instead of oak, the fragrance of the variety is shown in its natural state without the influence of wood or the spicy notes created by the barrels. This technique gives the wine a lighter texture, so it pairs very well with food and is delicious when combined with seafood, soft and semi-soft cheeses and desserts.
