Snake Venom is a beer with an alcohol content of 67.5%. It was made by the brewery behind Armageddon, the beer that previously held the record.
BrewMeister explains that, unlike Armageddon, Snake Venom beer was not designed to hide the taste of alcohol. Despite its high strength, they say it still tastes like beer. They also point out that its formulation is special.
It is produced with beer yeast, champagne yeast and peated malt. All the ingredients are frozen using the Eisbock method, which makes the beer even denser. 
The result is a powerful, extremely strong beer that nevertheless retains the characteristic flavour of malt and hops.
It was in 2013 that BrewMeister set out to brew the strongest and most dangerous beer in the world. The beer is not carbonated, which may surprise connoisseurs. It has managed to reach an alcohol content of 67.5%.
Many specialists believe this beer should not really be called beer at all; in fact, the alcohol concentration in the drink is closer to that of a spirit than a beer. But for the brewers at BrewMeister, it is a beer in a class of its own.
Each bottle comes with a warning label reminding you not to overdo your alcohol consumption. Remember, this is the beer with the highest alcohol percentage in the world. 
On the palate, the high alcohol strength does not hide the notes of lemon, cherry and apple, which fade into a bitter finish.
