Black Bottle Island Smoke Experiment #2 is a whisky featuring smoky and peaty whiskies blended with peat-free grain whiskies, creating an exceptional whisky for lovers of Islay.

The beach. The sea. Mother Nature. The wind whipping around you, the salt spray splashing in your face and the sand shuddering with the force of the waves.

These precise sensations are what they have captured in this liquid, a union of land and ocean. A splendid 1984 blended malt is the star, of that there is no doubt, but in addition there are no less than 20 other components woven around it, the result of which is a perfect balance of peat malt and peat-free grain.

Spices emerge, with nods to chilli, cardamom and even an undercurrent of seaweed, perhaps. Smoothness and smokiness, ebb and flow, like the tide hitting the shore, prepare to set sail on a voyage of flavour and discovery.
