Talisker Distillers Edition Double Matured Amoroso is the annual edition of Talisker whisky in Amoroso sherry casks
Amoroso sherry is a semi-sweet wine that is aged in American white oak barrels and is made from Palomono and Pedro Ximenez grapes. It is usually aged for 3-4 years.
Talisker acquires the barrels that have contained this type of wine and introduces its famous Talisker 10 years during the time that the master distiller considers appropriate (approximately 6 months) so that the notes that the wine has left in the wood of the barrel, pass and enrich the whisky.
