Smirnoff Black is a tribute to the distillation process of Smirnoff vodka that Piotr achieved in Russia, which was awarded the highest honour of being the Official Vodka of the Tsars.

The history of Vodka Smirnoff started when Piotr Arsenyevich Srmirnov established his distillery in 1860 in Moscow and started to produce a vodka with a special smoothness, thanks to a secret formula.

Smirnoff Black

In 1930 Smirnoff was introduced into the USA market, and it was a great success. Smirnoff has been a popular brand in bars in the USA since the 1940’s.

Smirnoff Black is a tribute to the distillation process of Smirnoff vodka that Piotr achieved in Russia, which was awarded the highest honour of being the Official Vodka of the Tsars. It is produced and distilled very slowly and filtered with charcoal to create a unique smoothness.
