More information Kraken Black Spiced Rum
Kraken Rum is dark spiced Caribbean rum from Trinidad and Tobago, distilled from naturally sweet molasses made from locally-grown sugar cane.
Aged for 2 years and blended with a mix of 11 spices, including cinnamon, ginger, and clove. The liquid is black, revealing hints of brown when held up to the light.
The bottle is styled after a Victorian rum bottle, with two hoop handles based on the tradition of hanging a bottle to prevent breakages. The bottle also has a black and white label featuring a drawing of a Kraken sea creature.

Tasting Notes | Appearance: Very dark, almost inky.
Nose: Clear aromas of vanilla and caramel, then opening up to the presence of liquorice and brown sugar.
Palate: Very soft and gentle, with a massive presence of caramel, a return of vanilla, but also on the spicy side: clove and ginger are present in flashes, along with a menthol that, at certain moments, becomes overpowering and invasive.
Finish: Not very long and at times evanescent.
