More information Botran Reserv 12 Years (Guatemala) Rum
In the first part of the twentieth century various rum producing Guatemalan families came together to achieve higher standards in product quality and to discover more efficient technologies. The unique land in Guatemala that combines the traditional values of the Maya and the flourishing sugar cane allowed these families to accomplish their goals and made them pioneers in the manufacturing of rum.
The Rum and Spirits of Guatemala offer consumers the experience of a "Single Quality”. Each product is made with the same quality, unalterably based on the same components (aged and natural water) and standards, thus becoming a genuine "Product of Origin”.

The distillation, the extraction of virgin honey, the careful selection of the best barrels and the expert aging where light, temperature, and time are controlled, are all done with passion … and this feeling is what consumers taste in each cup. Boltrán Solera 1893 Rum is the only rum that is distilled more than 7000 feet above sea level and grown in the tropics of Guatemala. It was formulated using selected rums of the Botrán House reserves aged 18 years in white oak barrels 7,650 feet above sea level.
