A story about two worlds

The story of The Macallan Lithabegins in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, where the process of making the exceptional sherry-seasoned oak barrels begins. These casks play a critical role in delivering the exceptional flavors and natural tones that define the whiskey.

Traveling from the sun-drenched vineyards of Jerez de la Frontera in Andalusia, where the grapes for sherry are grown, to The Macallan estate in Scotland, these casks are filled with their fresh, fruity alcohol, marking the meeting of two worlds, Scotland and Spain, in a magnificent dance of flavours.
