The Macallan TIME : SPACE COLLECTION includes two very special editions that embody Macallan’s essence and innovation over the years. Below, we take a closer look at each release.

The Macallan TIME : SPACE COLLECTION - The 2 editions
TIME: SPACE limited edition - A unique design inspired by modernity
The first release, named "TIME: SPACE", features an avant-garde design reminiscent of the shape of a Roomba, blending contemporary aesthetics with centuries-old tradition. This dual-chamber bottle contains two whiskies of exceptional character:
- TIME: SPACE 1940 vintage whisky: An extraordinary pure malt whisky aged for 84 years, from the 1940 vintage. This is the oldest whisky ever produced by Macallan, matured in American and European oak sherry casks. Its deep chocolate and smoky character, together with its heritage, make it a true jewel of the distillery.
- TIME: SPACE 2018 vintage whisky: A pure malt whisky aged for 5 years, the first made at Macallan’s new distillery. This young whisky offers a fresh aromatic profile with fruity notes and a butter-like smoothness, ideal for palates seeking a modern style.

Only 200 bottles of this limited edition will be produced, each presented in an elegant wooden display case designed to delight discerning collectors. The price of this exclusive set is around 179,200 euros.
TIME: SPACE Mastery – A whisky that captures Macallan’s craftsmanship
Another standout release is "TIME: SPACE Mastery", a single malt whisky created from 14 different casks, with an alcohol strength of 43.6%. The casks used for its maturation include:
- European and American oak sherry casks
- Bourbon casks
- Refill casks
This carefully managed process results in an exceptionally complex whisky, combining a wide range of nuances and flavours.
Tasting notes: TIME: SPACE Mastery
- Aroma: Rich aromas of Medjool dates, toasted figs and chocolate come to the fore.
- Palate: On the palate, a wonderful sweetness of sherry-soaked fruits unfolds, accompanied by orange marmalade, honey, ginger and cinnamon. A spiced finish leaves a memorable impression on the palate.
TIME: SPACE Mastery is presented in an elegant red case and has an estimated price of 1,280 euros. This edition is available both from the official The Macallan store and to members of The Macallan Society.
