Bareksten Botanical Gin is crafted at the Oss Craft Distillery, Norway, by Stig Bareksten, a master distiller renowned for reinterpreting the classic style of gin through local Scandinavian botanicals.
Bareksten Botanical Gin is inspired by Nordic nature, with a strong component of wild botanicals gathered locally. It uses more than 26 botanicals with a potato-based spirit, of which at least 19 are of Norwegian origin, giving it a very distinctive profile. Among them: juniper, blueberries, lingonberries, rhubarb, wild flowers, local herbs and barks.
The production follows a London Dry style, but with a clearly Scandinavian accent.
It has received several international awards, including medals at spirits competitions in London and San Francisco, which consolidated its global prestige.
