Alejandro Wineries produces Arbui in Monóvar, Alicante.
The estate is located in a valley surrounded by large mountains, and the vineyards sit at an elevation of 560 meters above sea level.
The soil is chalky and clayey, and the area's climate is dry, with maritime influences from Mediterranean air currents. This promotes the growth of the crops and enhances the quality of the wines.
Arbui is a modern, robust wine of exceptional quality, featuring a high alcohol content and elevated tannin levels, which harmonize after barrel ageing.
Harvesting
Vineyards are planted using the "bush vine" system. Bunches and berries are manually selected. Dry winter, with springtime rainfall. Summer comes with high temperatures.
Production
Made from 100% Monastrell grapes with a vine age of 72 years, aged in French oak barrels for 15 months.
