Wine Vega Izan 2023

Vega Izan Joven is a delicious red wine with a beautiful raspberry colour and a fresh and tasty palate.

Ribera del Duero is one of the most outstanding areas producing quality red wines in Spain.

Guzmán de Izan (Burgos), municipality where Bodegas Riberalta is located, is one of the best considered terms within the Ribera production area; its special orography, its 800 metres of altitude, limit of the cultivation of the vineyard, its jets or soft valleys oriented to the midday, the texture of the gravelly-sandy, loose and healthy soil. The clayey subsoil, with a great capacity to retain water, provides perfect ripening and scarce fruit of the highest quality.

The grape variety is exclusively Tempranillo, which due to its special adaptation to these lands is called TINTO FINO.

All the plantations are over 15 years old, in some cases reaching 60 years old, providing perfect fruit for ageing. In the winery, the nobility of Castile stands out in its construction and in its facilities, technology always at the service of tradition.
