Regina Viarum shines as one of the most innovative wineries in Galicia, having produced the first Galician Tempranillo and being the first to incorporate a vibration-based destemmer.
Vinification of Regina Viarum Mencía
Hand-harvested and manually selected grapes from their estates.
Destemming and gentle crushing of the grapes in a cold environment. Maceration for 72 hours at very low temperatures, followed by fermentation at controlled temperatures, with “délestage” and daily pump-overs at a maximum of 28°C to extract all its colour, aroma, and complexity.
Aging on fine lees for four months, providing greater creaminess and uniqueness to the wine.

Tasting Notes
Appearance: A striking cherry red hue with violet reflections.
Nose: Evokes fresh and fruity aromas, highlighting very ripe red fruits with mineral undertones.
Palate: Fresh attack, mineral intensity with great expressiveness, rounded and velvety structure in the mouth. Pleasant, ample, with a long and warm persistent aftertaste.
