The producer of Plantation rums is Maison Ferrand, a French company founded by Alexandre Gabriel.
Since 2024, the Plantation Rum brand has been renamed Planteray Rum. The name change was made to distance the brand from the historical connotations associated with the word "Plantation", while maintaining the same ownership, the same team, the same partner distilleries and the same production philosophy.
