Patxaran Etxeco is the result of macerating sloes with alcohol. Most of the sloes come from plantations in Navarre that are directly controlled by the Navarrese Patxaran Council. The alcohol comes from the best quality beet molasses.
After maceration, which will take approximately 2 months depending on the evolution of the bluish fruit with the alcohol both in colour and taste, sugar and aniseed are added.
The resulting mixture is filtered up to 5 times to separate impurities and obtain a homogeneous mixture to the consumer's taste.
This pacharán is made by adding the components based on the traditional recipe of the Velasco family product.

Tasting Notes
It has an intense red colour with slight tile tones. Brightness and limpidity characteristic of young drinks.
The first aroma is fruity, with hints of aniseed also appearing easily.
It has the characteristic sloe flavour of this product and the sweetness of the liqueur is cushioned by the acidity and bitterness imparted by the fruit.
A very digestive drink, with a pleasant flavour and reddish tones, made from fresh sloes, alcohol, aniseed and sugar.
