In the 1920s, the Domecq brothers that owned the business focused the company towards the production of wine and brandies. Animated by the opportunity in the brandy market, they decided to bring out the old stills stored in their father's collection to start producing a new type of brandy.
Carlos I 1 Liter was born from this venture, a great still reserve that represents the best of Dominican brandies.
