Step 1: Selecting the best Dominican coffeeBrugal Colección Visionaria 2 honours Dominican roots... not just in the rum. For this edition, we carefully selected another of the island's treasures: Dominican coffee, so special that only 20% is exported.
Step 2: Cask toasting with Dominican coffeeThey innovate once again with our Aromatic Cask Toasting Technique. For this edition, the casks are toasted with Dominican coffee beans—which are then removed—infusing the wood with their aromatic properties. Afterwards, these casks are ready to be filled with our exceptional rum.
Step 3: Aging a rich and elegant rumEvery drop of Brugal Colección Visionaria 2 is aged in new European oak casks, expertly selected to develop rich and complex flavours. With each sip, you can taste the culmination of years of experience... and the essence of our beloved homeland.
Each bottle of Brugal Colección Visionaria 2 is special... and not just for its content. It is sealed by hand, signed, and wrapped in our iconic netting, as a symbol of the passion and dedication we put into every detail.
APPEARANCE: Dark golden amber
NOSE: Exceptionally smooth with rich notes of caramel and freshly brewed coffee. Layers of dark chocolate interwoven with sweet vanilla. Subtle smoky hints add a delicate complexity.
PALATE: Begins with a gentle burst of spices—cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg—that bring refined complexity to the palate. Delicate hints of dried fruits perfectly intertwine with a deep coffee flavour, enriching every sip. The experience culminates in the subtle richness of oak, providing a smooth and slightly dry base.
FINISH: Lingering smoke that evolves gently. A medium-length finish that is both complex and smooth, leaving a lasting impression of balanced flavours.
