The Alicante Bouschet variety originates from this area, where thanks to its soils and climate it reaches its highest expression.
Grape from vineyards located in the interior of the province of Alicante. With an average age of 35 years, this variety finds its maximum expression in these lands of poor soils, located at an average altitude of about 650 m and a Mediterranean climate characterized by low rainfall and high summer temperatures, producing complex grapes with high fruit concentration.
The Alicante Bouschet variety originates from this area, where, thanks to its soils and climate, it reaches its highest expression. It is harvested at the beginning of September by hand, making a first selection in the field and a second selection in the winery. Fermentation is carried out at a low temperature with an average maceration, sufficient for it to take on body, but respecting its typical fruit character, and then it is given a touch of American and Hungarian oak which gives it sweet and toasted notes that complete its production.
With this wine we continue our project of producing native varieties in their place of origin, working the grapes that my grandfather worked with in his day but with our authentic and current style. Obtaining a non-conformist, rebellious, unique and surprising wine..., in short, a LOST BULLET.
