Absenthie Candela La Fée Verte is an alcoholic beverage with a light aniseed flavor, accompanied by a bitter undertone with complex hints due to the contribution of other herbs.

In 1860, absinthe became so popular that many cafes and cabarets indicated that at 5 p.m., l'heure verte ('the green hour') would take place.

Until its production was banned in 1915, the allure and prohibition led it to be consumed among romantic artists and writers, just as Van Gogh, Hemingway, and Picasso did.
