Matsu El Pícaro is the strength, cheek, and courage of youth.
Matsu represents a journey through the passage of time through several generations dedicated to life in the countryside. Youth, maturity and old age. Four wines born in the D.O. Toro that have needed more than a hundred years to be made with the Toro grape. Years to be made with grapes from centenary vineyards, the wisdom inherited from generations of winegrowers who continue to cultivate the vines traditionally and the most ancestral techniques.
El Pícaro, El Recio, El Viejo and La Jefa personify the essence of Matsu, each with a relationship with the land that is specific to their age and stage of life. They are a tribute to the hundreds of men and women who have dedicated their lives to the vineyards in dedicated their lives to the vineyard in this region. The result is four modern and sophisticated wines, capable of displaying a soft and discreet elegance without losing the power that characterizes Toro wines.
Matsu El Pícaro comes from a selection of old low production Tinta de Toro vineyards, planted on poor soils, cultivated naturally and aged for two months on its lees in concrete tanks.
It is a 100% vegan wine, with V-Label certification, guaranteeing that no animal products have been used in its production.
