The Macallan Sherry Oak 30 Year Old whisky is part of the Sherry Oak range, which is composed of several single malt whiskies matured exclusively in carefully selected oak casks that have previously held sherry from the Sherry Oak region to give them intensity and complexity.
Deliciously smooth with an intense and lingering finish, the natural dark mahogany colour of the 30 year old is the most intense of the range.
The Macallan Sherry Oak 30 years is matured for 30 years and only in oak casks that have previously held oloroso sherry from Jerez (Spain).
The spirit ages undisturbed in the same casks for this thirty year period and is transformed to create this naturally dark, luxurious single malt whisky characterized by intense flavours of dried fruits, orange, and spice.
