More information Cesilia Crianza 2020 Wine
Cesilia Crianza is made from a coupage of Monastrell and Petit Verdot.
Cesilia Crianza comes from a yield of less than 2 Kg per vine and a harvest carried out by hand in 15 Kg boxes in order to respect the fruit as much as possible. The grapes are hand-picked berry by berry on the sorting belt.
Winemaking and ageing
As soon as the grapes are transferred to the vat, they are quickly cooled to allow them to undergo pre-fermentation maceration for a few days.
Then fermentation begins at a controlled temperature in the same stainless steel vat, with a slow maceration in order to carry out a gentle extraction of tannins and anthocyanins from the grape skins.
After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 months in French (70%), Eastern (20%) and American (10%) 225 and 500 litre oak barrels.
Ageing potential
The wine can age for 6 to 8 years.

Tasting Notes | Deep cherry red colour with a luminous ruby rim that retains a violet hue, clean and bright.
Intense nose with balsamic notes, ripe red fruits, mineral notes and slight hints of cedar wood. It has an elegant evolution reflecting the excellent ripening of the grapes.
In the mouth it has a good tannic structure. It is delicate, with a sweet, unaggressive palate.
The finish is reminiscent of spicy aromas characteristic of Mediterranean soils.
