In the 19th century the Alicante province was famous for the production of delicious liqueurs, thanks to the rich variety of aromatic plants.

A man of the land, Queremón Alfonso, was the brilliant creator of the Cantueso Oro, which soon received recognition for its warmth with numerous awards and distinctions.

Since its foundation in 1945, SYS has combined tradition, research and technology in its distillation processes. That is why they continue to produce the most traditional liqueur in the province of Alicante with the same love and flavour.

Handcrafted, harvesting the flower of the cantueso from the Sierra de Mariola and with ecological certification, it is distilled in copper stills and the liquor is aged in oak barrels for 10 years.  An Artisan Jewel
