Bodegas Balbás dates back to 1777, making today more than 200 years of a tradition of four generations dedicated to the deep-rooted passion of making one of the greatest wines of Ribera del Duero.
More than 20 years has passed by since Bodegas Balbás, together with a small bunch of wine cellars, created and established what we today know as the Guarantee of Origin Ribera del Duero
From then, they have tried and managed to combine, more than 200 years with the most modern and technologically advanced elaboration process, that make their wines show, in its highest peak, the most characteristic type of the greatest wines of this Guarantee of Origin.
Balbás Crianza is a wine made from our own vines and has been aged for a year and a half in French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes
Intense cherry red with a purplish rim, on the nose the aromas of vanilla and toasted wood stand out, with hints of green pepper typical of Cabernet Sauvignon. A silky red with a smooth palate throughout, ending in a long and, above all, highly elegant finish.
