Akashi Blended Sherry Cask is an ideal gateway to discover the art of aging in Japan, specifically in Sherry Cask barrels.

Akashi Blended Sherry Cask is composed of 70% grain whisky and 30% malted barley, double-distilled in traditional stills and then aged in ex-Sherry American oak barrels for a period of 3 to 4 years.

This whisky is characterized by its smooth sweet notes, accompanied by intense spicy undertones and hints of dried fruits, making it a unique choice for lovers of complex and balanced flavors.

The Akashi distillery, founded in 1888, was dedicated exclusively to sake production until 1984, when it incorporated stills for whisky distillation. Currently, these stills are used only one month a year, resulting in limited production quantities, making each bottle of Akashi a true gem.
