Rum Seven Tiki (Fiji Islands)

Pure isolation protects the water of Fiji. It is as pure now as in ancient times before men first set foot on the island. Purity makes Seven Tiki dark rum stand alone, like Fiji itself.

Its colour is a deep brown amber, like the volcanic earth that nurtures the sugar cane. Its aroma is the scent of Fiji’s forests. Sugarcane, vanilla, peach, banana and dark wood. Its flavour weaves the sweetness of sugarcane with wood and vanilla to create a perfect balance. Its feel is warm and welcoming like the people of Fiji. Its finish is traditional, yet has its own original smoothness.

When the Seven Tiki Spirits first created this dark rum, the Spirit of Unknown Passion consecrated it with fire. This act is celebrated in the Orange Peel Ritual. To offer thanks to the Spirits, a slice of orange peel is scorched in flame and tossed into the rum. Glasses are then raised to honour the Spirits with a cry of praise before drinking.
