Syrup Orgeat Sanz

Orgeat has its origins in almond milk, which is made by extracting the oils from almonds and emulsifying them with water.

The almond tree originates from the warm areas of Asia, from where it was introduced by the Phoenicians and later expanded by the Romans, making it a typical Mediterranean tree.

This syrup is made by incorporating the essential oils of the almond, which give it its pleasant and characteristic flavour.

It is a widely used ingredient in a variety of tropical cocktails, the best known being the Mai Tai.
