The majority of our vineyards are made up of old vines, more than 25 years old, in which the majority of the Tempranillo variety is cultivated.
Bodegas Juan Alcorta, named after its founder, Juan Alcorta, is located on the old road to Fuenmayor (Logroño).
A winery exclusively dedicated to crianza, reserva and gran reserva wines, whose vineyards are divided into plots so that the vocation of the grapes is determined for each type of wine. For the aging in barrels we use mainly American oak and also French oak, in a serene and restful atmosphere for the aging of wine.
Marques de Villamagna Crianza
Tempranillo grapes from 30 hectares of 25 to 30 year-old vines. Aged 12 months in barrels, 1/3 French oak 2/3 American oak and 7 to 12 months in bottle.
